Jill Gerlach

Through Jill Gerlach Consulting, Gerlach provides consulting on patient services, department operations, organization and strategic planning for improved patient care and outcomes.
Before owning her own consulting firm, Gerlach was the director of the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Center for Women’s Health and Outpatient Services, and co-director of Women’s Services. In this role, she directed operations of the outpatient services for women, community education programming and community relations.
She has also served as a nurse educator, instructor, and as director of the Kansas State University Kansas City Office, which was opened to focus on student recruitment and alumni relations, and to coordinate university activities in Kansas City.
She holds a B.S. in Adult Education from Kansas State University, a B.S.N. in Nursing from Wichita State University, an M.S. in Adult and Occupational Education with an emphasis in leadership, and has worked toward her Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Hospital Administration, Higher Education Administration and Business Administration.
