Kitchen Assistant

K-State Olathe is looking for an individual to join the Food Programs and Services team as the Kitchen Assistant. The Kitchen Assistant works directly with the Manager, Food Program and Services and other University staff to support the planning and execution of food programs, events and classes. This position will be focused on kitchen and facilities maintenance and sanitation, with responsibilities branching into program assistance and food preparation. This position is part-time (16 hours per week), non-exempt.
Communications and Marketing Specialist

K-State Olathe is seeking applications from individuals looking to join the Communications and Marketing team. The Communications and Marketing Specialist works closely with the director of communications and marketing to develop an editorial and social media calendar. The content ranges from blogs and an enewsletter to social media posts leveraging keywords to enhance SEO results. This position also collaborates with team members, staff, faculty, students and external stakeholders on brainstorming, interviewing, creating content and moving it through reviews. A successful candidate will need to be a self-starter who has an understanding of how all content supports campus goals. This position will be a 12-month appointment with hybrid work opportunities.
Director of Business and Finance Services

The Director of Business and Finance Services has responsibility for all aspects of the financial management for K-State Olathe (75%), supervision of personnel and services related to facilities and building operations and events management, and indirect supervision of IT and Human Resources (25%). The director oversees the financial management of K-State Olathe (operating through Kansas State University). This includes all revenue, expenditures, payroll, capital improvements, bond issues and banking relationships. This position will be a 12-month appointment with hybrid work opportunities.
Contracts and Grants Officer

The Contracts and Grants Officer will provide comprehensive support to faculty and staff throughout the lifecycle of grant funding. This full-time position will be integral in facilitating the pre-award and post-award processes, ensuring smooth financial administration, compliance, and communication with funding agencies at the K-State Olathe campus. This position will provide administrative support and budget management for awarded grants including award setup, budget tracking, subaward management, and reporting. The position will report to the K-State Olathe Director of Business and Finance Services and collaborate closely with the Associate Dean of Faculty, Research, and Administration to enhance workflow and grant management processes. This position will be a 12-month appointment with hybrid work opportunities.
