Research Assistant | Industrial Hemp Analysis Lab (posted 8/31/21)
The Industrial Hemp Analysis Lab at K-State Olathe has an opening for a short-term, part-time research assistant for the fall semester (mid-August to mid-November). The research assistant will participate in the intake, analysis, and reporting of industrial hemp samples in a DEA-registered lab. The lab performs analysis of cannabinoids, terpenes, moisture content and water activity of fresh, dried and prepared CBDhemp derived products. Samples will come from a variety of sources; including, internal research projects, collaborations with other labs, and samples from regional growers. The person filling this role will regularly interface with growers and clients in person and via email and will report to the Laboratory Manager.
