Scholarships for New Students
Earning a graduate degree is a significant investment in your future, and Kansas State University's Olathe campus strives to support our students and their goals.
As part of the All-University Open House, the Olathe campus and its partners are offering four $500 scholarships to new students applying to or accepted into our master's, doctoral and professional degree programs and our bachelor's degree completion program for summer or fall 2019.
Bachelor's degree
•B.S. in Hospitality Management (degree completion program)
Master's degrees
• M.S. in Adult Learning and Leadership
• Master of Agribusiness Animal Helath Cohort
• M.S. in Horticulture with an emphasis in Urban Food Systems
• M.S. in Veterinary Biomedical Science
Professional Science Master's degree
Doctoral degrees
• Ed.D. in Adult Learning and Leadership
Eligibility Details
To be considered, applicants must attend either the Young Professionals Pizza and Networking event on Tuesday, March 26, or the All-University Open House on Saturday, April 6, to receive a scholarship application.
Additionally:
• Applicants must be applying to a K-State Olathe degree program for the summer or fall 2019 semesters.
• Selection criteria includes demonstrated academic achievement, financial need and fit for the degree program.
• Awards will be distributed to recipients contingent on (1) acceptance into one of the eligible degree programs for the summer or fall 2019 semesters and (2) enrollment in at least three credit hours for the first semester.
• Recipients do not need to live in Johnson County.
Notification Time Line
The four scholarship awardees, all of whom must meet the eligibility requirements, will be notified on or before May 4.
