OLATHE — Are you ready to ring in the new year with new skills?

Kansas State University Olathe knows that one of the most effective ways employers can retain employees is to support them through professional development opportunities. Ongoing training and continuing education are essential when it comes to helping employees feel understood and valued.

To meet the needs of your team, K-State Olathe offers a variety of animal health professional development programs designed to fit your organization's interests, budget, time and — most importantly — your career goals.

In 2024, our programs will feature webinars, seminars and a three-day conference all focused on the animal health industry and designed to boost your team’s performance to the next level.

Our webinars provide a quick opportunity to learn with a subject matter expert over lunch. These sessions are just an hour and fifteen minutes long, making them an ideal choice for today’s busy professional. Each webinar features a topic that is timely and relevant to the industry and presentations will be followed with a discussion, so you’ll be able to ask any questions you may have and receive input and feedback from the speaker.

If you’re looking for something more in-depth, our seminar series offers three-hour sessions on relevant topics and enables you to connect in-person or online with your colleagues and featured experts. Each seminar is designed to give you a well-rounded understanding of an area of animal health that can impact you in your career.

Finally, our signature workshop series featuring animal health regulatory affairs is now offered in a three-day conference format. Discussions will focus on regulatory basics, more in-depth discussions on FDA and SDA regulations. EPA will be covered briefly. The three-day event will provide networking with subject matter experts, fellow industry professionals and opportunities to put new learning to practice through applied activities.

All programs will include CE opportunities through the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University.
