Program Details

The B.S. in Personal Financial Planning degree is a CFP Board Registered Program and designed for those seeking a career helping others reach their financial and personal goals. This program has a combined emphasis on understanding holistic financial planning, as well as the role of family in financial decisions. The personal financial planning bachelor's degree program will prepare you to thrive in the in-demand profession of financial planning.

The K-State Olathe B.S. in Personal Financial Planning program is a bachelor's completion degree program.

To earn your B.S. in Personal Financial Planning from K-State Olathe, students need to have at least 24 hours of community college or university credit to qualify as a transfer student. However, students are eligible to submit their applications while their community college credits are in progress and they do not need to wait until they are completed to apply as long as they are finished by the semester they begin the program at the Olathe campus.


Campus Options

The B.S. in Personal Financial Planning is offered at both K-State's Manhattan and Olathe campuses.

At the K-State Olathe campus, you can complete your undergraduate degree through a combination of in-person and online courses with Kansas City as your backdrop.

If you're interested in a more traditional student experience, K-State's Manhattan campus also offers a B.S. in Personal Financial Planning.
