Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Two years of professional work experience
  • Personal computer proficiency
  • Undergraduate courses in:
    • Accounting
    • Statistics or genetics
    • Macroeconomics, Microeconomics or agricultural economics

Applicants who do not meet the admissions requirements should contact the MAB program directly for advising on alternative admission.

Please note that the GRE and GMAT are not a requirement.

Admission Checklist

1. Official Transcripts
Upload a copy of your transcript in PDF format from each college or university where you received your bachelor’s degree(s) or completed any other coursework or degrees. If you are admitted, you will be required to submit an official transcript from the institution(s) where you received your degree(s) or completed any credits. Students whose transcripts are not in English must furnish an English translation by an appropriate authority.

Please note: Unofficial transcripts can be used when submitting the online application. Official transcripts will be required after official acceptance.

2. Statement of Objectives
The Statement of Objectives should briefly describe your interest in the program, previous experience, research interests and long-term career goals. The statement can also mention one or more K-State faculty with whom you have an interest in working.

3. Letters of Recommendation
Request three letters of recommendation through the online application system from former/current professors, employers or other professionals who are in a position to evaluate your potential for graduate study.

4. TOEFL Scores
Required only if English is not your first language.

5. Graduate School Application and Application Fee
$65 for U.S. citizens and permanent residents; $75 for international

Complete the Graduate School application.

Application Deadline

June 1 is the priority application deadline and applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until the cohort is filled. International students must apply by April 15 for admission and visa processing. Early submissions are strongly encouraged due to limited seats available.
