Media advisory: Vehicle Safety Conference in K.C. tackles issue of preventable roadway deaths

ANNOUNCEMENT: The upcoming Midwest Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit, a U.S. Department of Transportation safety summit, will convene transportation safety stakeholders across the Midwest to share stories, information and to collectively commit to specific actions to reduce roadway deaths.

- Preventable vehicle crashes kill as many people in the U.S. as gun violence; yet get less attention than many other issues.
