Gellhaus to coordinate fiscal operations

OLATHE — Amanda Gellhaus joins Kansas State University's Olathe campus at the fiscal and operations coordinator, effective Dec. 12.

In the role, Gellhaus will assist in the direction and coordination of operational, personnel, fiscal, logistical and managerial activities of the K-State Olathe campus. This includes accounts payable and receivable, purchasing, payroll, budget management and other fiscal areas.

"Amanda comes to us with a lot of great experience in many areas," said Meagan Sadler, director of business and finance services. "Her adaptability, along with her wide breadth of skills and knowledge, will be major assets to the organization as we carve a path forward in finance and operations. We are so excited to have Amanda on board."

Gellhaus was the executive assistant at the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment before coming to K-State Olathe. For nearly two years, she supported the multiple directors with day-to-day tasks and scheduling. She also prepared reports, helped with payroll and managed the online business accounts.

She also worked as an administrative assistant at Saint Luke's South Hospital for a year, at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center for three years and at the University of Kansas Physicians for nearly four years.

Gellhaus has her bachelor's degree in healthcare management from Western Governors University in Utah and her associate's degree in liberal arts from Johnson County Community College.
