In 2020, the Food Innovation Accelerator expanded its capabilities and saw its clientele triple. The accelerator is a physical resource for food-based entrepreneurs and the food product and ingredient industry.

Kansas State University’s Olathe campus is offering a virtual summer camp for middle schoolers interested in the science of cooking — and the fun of eating their creations.

 

Four faculty to emphasize the need for collaboration around zoonotic diseases at online national conference

This month, as part of a national conference, four Kansas State University faculty are discussing the need for intentional partnerships by public administration, public health and animal health professionals when it comes to responding to and improving policy for zoonotic diseases.

 

Consumer research on a continental level

Grace Deubler, a doctoral student in human ecology, is looking at the drivers of liking around men's face lotion in the U.S. and South Korea. Her goal is to identify which characteristics of face lotion are most important to men.
