Twenty-four students at Olathe campus earning graduate degrees

Working professionals in Kansas City KC can earn a master's, doctorate, professional degree at K-State Olathe to advance their career.

Twenty-four students are advancing their career goals by earning master's and professional degrees from Kansas State University.

OLATHE — A record 24 students earning their master's and professional degrees through Kansas State University's Olathe campus are being recognized at the university's Graduate School commencement ceremony on May 17.

It is the largest graduating class from the Olathe campus and includes graduates from the fall 2018, spring 2019 and summer 2019 academic semesters.

"We are very proud of our graduates and are thrilled to celebrate their successes," said Jackie Spears, associate dean for academic affairs. "In addition to juggling coursework and projects for classes, most of our graduating students have full-time careers and families, which makes this accomplishment really impressive."

A celebration is being held for graduates and their families at the Olathe campus prior to the commencement ceremony.
