OLATHE — April 6 marked the return of the annual All-University Open House at Kansas State University's Olathe campus. The event featured entertainment, activities, hands-on demonstrations, food, exhibits and more geared for Wildcats of all ages.
More than 1,000 community members from Greater Kansas City attended open house, taking part in numerous activities and games, getting a photo with Willie the Wildcat, enjoying pancake breakfast, Purple Pride ice cream from the Manhattan campus and much more.
Multiple students entering graduate programs and the bachelor's degree completion program at the campus applied for one of the four $500 scholarships offered at open house. Applicants are being assessed and scholarships will be awarded in May.
Open house concluded with a women's soccer game between K-State and Oral Roberts University, which was attended by more than 400 people. The game included a match between youth soccer clubs and Willie the Wildcat as well as soccer ball giveaways.
