Royce Ann Collins, Ph.D., is currently chair of the educational leadership department and professor of adult learning and leadership at Kansas State University. She has over 30 years of experience in teaching and administering higher education programs for adult learners. While well-known and awarded for her administrative experience, Collins is at heart devoted to the art of teaching adult students and providing them the opportunity to learn and improve.

Collins has won national and regional awards for her teaching, research and scholarship. In 2016, she was presented with the College of Education, Michael C. Holen Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award. In 2014, she was presented with the Council for Accelerated Programs Lifetime Achievement Award for her leadership, advocacy and research on adult learners in higher education, specifically in accelerated formats. In 2011, she was presented with the University Professional and Continuing Education Association’s Research and Scholarship Award. She received an inaugural appointment to the Kansas State University Academy of Fellows in March 2013.
