Directed Futures

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Joey Grimm became interested in making moving sculptures as he tinkered with cars and learned how engines operate. He is currently working on his MFA at the University of Delaware, where he is researching and producing kinetic sculpture. Upon completion of his studies there, he plans to return to Kansas City and start his own studio. The piece at left was generously donated by Gary and Pam Gradinger.
