An assistant professor of art at Kansas State University, Erin Wiersma is an artist from Somerville, New Jersey. Her work explores the intangible aspects of the human presence using her own being as a point of reference. After studying at Instituto Lodovico in Orvieto, Italy, she received a BFA from Messiah College and MFA in painting from the University of Connecticut. The purchase of this piece was made possible by a generous donation from Fred and Carol Logan.
