Panels at 2025 Animal Health Conference to Highlight Innovation, Talent Development and Regulatory Strategy

OLATHE — Kansas State University Olathe’s 2025 Animal Health Regulatory Affairs Conference, Sept. 16–18, will feature a series of panel discussions about key issues and emerging opportunities in the animal health industry.

With representation from industry, academia and government, the panels are designed to foster collaboration and offer insights that professionals can apply to real-world regulatory and product development settings.

Featured panels include:

  • Value of Interdisciplinary Approaches to Developing Nutrition Products —This nutrition track panel brings together leaders in research, regulatory affairs and industry to discuss how cross-functional collaboration is driving innovation in animal nutrition. Topics include product development, regulatory compliance and integrating science for market readiness. Moderator: Kathy Gross, Ph.D., PAS, Dipl. ACAN; Panelists: Kelly Foos; Amanda Anderson; Haley Larson, Ph.D.
  • A Conversation on the Developing Technology of Monoclonal Antibodies —Part of the pharmaceuticals track, this session examines the potential of monoclonal antibody therapies in veterinary medicine, covering regulatory expectations, manufacturing and commercialization. Facilitator: Norm Brown, M.S. Panelist: Jay Peterson, Elanco.
  • Industry Resources Panel Breakfast — This session, open to all tracks, features regulatory and industry leaders sharing tools, guidance and partnership opportunities for navigating evolving regulatory environments.
