Student and faculty member honored for their academic, scientific contributions

A graduate student and recently retired faculty member are being recognized for their academic pursuits and scientific contributions by the School of Applied and Interdisciplinary Studies at Kansas State University's Olathe campus.

 

Academic programs completed by 28 graduate students

Twenty-eight students are completing their degree program at Kansas State University's Olathe campus during the 2022 spring academic semester.

 

From plastic sticker to laser printer

Researchers at K-State Olathe are looking at replacing the plastic sticker on fresh produce with a laser-printed QR code onto the food itself. This would reduce environmental waste and improve food traceability.
