Valentine's Day 2022 will bring a new president to Kansas State University. Richard Linton was selected as the 15th president of K-State by the Kansas Board of Regents at a Dec. 2 meeting on the Manhattan campus and plans to start his new job on Feb. 14.
Regents name Richard Linton as 15th president of Kansas State University
Today the Kansas Board of Regents voted to name Dr. Richard H. Linton as the 15th President of Kansas State University. The Regents chose Dr. Linton after a committee-led search to identify the next president of K-State. The search process began after current President Richard Myers announced in May that he would retire at the end of 2021.
