OLATHE — Data management is the focus of an upcoming seminar for professionals in the animal health industry.

"Data Management for Animal Health Studies" is from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday,
June 7, at Kansas State University's Olathe campus. It will provide attendees with multiple perspectives on critical aspects of data management from representatives affiliated with animal health research, pharmaceutical development and data capture in clinical trial management systems.

Topics include data management elements, using raw data in studies, contents of a data management plan and data management considerations in an Electronic Data Capture System, or EDC, study setup.

This is the fourth seminar in a series designed to provide current topic information in animal health regulatory affairs. The seminars are designed to connect the animal health industry to the federal regulatory agencies, with the goal of facilitating a dialog that may help craft solutions and actions that improve aspects of the regulatory process.

The three previous seminars have been attended by professionals at animal health companies and affiliated industries throughout the world. Participant feedback has shown that the information is impactful and making a difference in the industry.
