Dennis Ridenour

President and CEO, BioKansas

Dennis Ridenour is president and chief executive officer of BioKansas, a regional life science and health care nonprofit based in Fairway, Kansas.

Prior to joining BioKansas, Ridenour was a research specialist at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas City, Missouri. He also has worked in oncology at Merck Research Labs in Boston and as a research technician and lab supervisor in the department of neurobiology at Harvard Medical School.

Ridenour attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earning bachelor's and master's degrees in biological sciences. He also completed his master of business administration at the University of Kansas.

Ridenour and his wife, Janell, enjoy their free time with their three children, Ellery, Andrew and Theo.
