Postdoc Associate

K-State Olathe invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate - AI and Computer Vision for Poultry Biosecurity to contribute to a USDA-funded research program. This is a 12-month term, renewable annually for up to 2 years contingent upon funding. The immediate supervisor for this position will be Professor Majid Jaberi-Douraki. The purpose of this position is to develop an effective biosecurity strategy to protect commercial poultry meat and egg farms from infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) by reducing contact with wild birds and waterfowl that may carry the virus.
The deadline to apply for this position is 11:59 p.m. on July 26.
POOL Instructor Positions
The following positions are accepting applications until 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2027. These positions are for part-time, temporary instructors. Instructor positions are non-tenure-track members of the faculty.
Biostatistics Instructor
Instructors will lead and teach online courses within the Data Analytics and Insights in Animal Health Graduate Certificate and the Industrial Analytics track of the M.S. in Applied Biosciences in the College of Applied and Professional Studies.
Nutrition Instructor
Instructors will teach nutrition classes to undergraduate students for evening, in-person classes to be held at the K-State Olathe campus. Classes are for the School of Health Sciences, preparing students for careers and additional education in public health, human nutrition and dietetics.
Veterinary Biomedical Sciences Instuctor
Instructors will teach online courses for the Veterinary Biomedical Sciences (VBS) Master's degree program. Instruction should support graduate students pursuing advanced study in pathobiology and related veterinary biomedical sciences fields.
