Scientific Review of Ingredient Submissions

A new ingredient review process and approval pathway

The Scientific Review of Ingredient Submissions, or SRIS, is a collaboration by the Association of American Feed Control Officials, or AAFCO, and K-State Olathe. Through this process, newly proposed animal food ingredients can be scientifically evaluated twice as fast as was traditionally possible — while maintaining the same rigorous scientific standards.
