Katie Hope, D.V.M., Ph.D.

Katie Hope is currently an associate scientist with Merck Animal Health in the Global Clinical Research department. During her career with Merck Animal Health, she has been focused on developing new molecules for use in veterinary medicine by providing technical expertise and study management in early-stage clinical studies.

Hope graduated from Kansas State University in 2009 with a B.S. and in 2013 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She practiced companion animal medicine in the Kansas City area for two years before transitioning back to graduate school. In 2019, Katie completed a Ph.D. program in pharmacology and microbiology research through the Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine
