Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs - North America at Hill's Pet Nutrition Inc.

 

Amy Tryon DaPrato has 11 years of experience in the pet food industry, including eight years in global regulatory affairs. As the senior manager for regulatory affairs - North America at Hill's Pet Nutrition, a subsidiary of Colgate-Palmolive, Amy and her team are responsible for product compliance in the areas of formulations, finished products, packaging, as well as market access support for products in Latin America and Asia Pacific. In her time at Hill's, Amy has received numerous awards for her contributions to compliance process improvements and regulatory leadership.

Currently, Amy works closely with the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) on Pet Food Label Modernization (PFLM) workgroups and committees collaborating with state regulators and other pet food industry professionals. She also is an active member of various U.S. trade associations.

Prior to Hill's, Amy spent six years at the Kansas Department of Health and Environmental Laboratories. Amy has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management.
