Brett Horton
Dr. Brett Horton is a Professor of Practice in Hospitality Mangement at Kansas State University's Olathe campus.

Brett Horton, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at Johnson County Community College.

He previously led the hospitality management bachelor's degree completion program at K-State Olathe for 4 years. He also has consulting experience with Sporting KC.

Horton understands teams, having worked 12 years at five-star hotels and resorts as well as being the senior director at the WinShape Retreat Center in Mount Berry, Georgia, where he oversaw a staff of 100 employees.

He has a Ph.D. in restaurant, hotel, institution and tourism management from Purdue University; a MBA in finance from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs; and a B.S. in restaurant, hotel and institution management from K-State.
