How to Earn Your Degree
Earning a B.S. in Applied and Interdisciplinary Studies is simple: Your transfer credits + Our leadership certificate + Your career focus = Bachelor's degree and certificate(s).
Start by transfering up to 75 credit hours toward the 120 credit hours needed to complete this program. Your transfer hours can come from technical training, community college or an incomplete bachelor's degree.
You'll then complete 9 credit hours of professional skills courses and a 15-credit hour leadership certificate from the Staley School of Leadership. With these, you'll gain professional skills employers say are missing in the current workforce.
Last, you'll complete a certificate or minor in a focus area of your choice. Available areas include business, engineering and human sciences. Note that if you choose a focus area that's a certificate rather than a minor, you'll graduate with a second certificate.
