Biography

Sharese Moser is the finance manager at Kansas State University Olathe. In this role, she oversees daily financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, grant oversight and financial reporting, while supervising finance and accounting staff.

Moser brings more than two decades of progressive financial leadership experience across higher education, health care and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she served as director of finance at the Kansas Institute for Positive, Healthy and Inclusive Communities, where she managed bookkeeping for multiple grant awards, coordinated benefit programs, prepared operating budgets and produced financial statements.

Prior to that, Moser spent nearly five years as director of finance at Amberwell Hiawatha, serving as a member of the executive leadership team alongside the CEO, COO, chief nursing officer and chief medical officer. In that role, she managed the finance, purchasing, revenue cycle and information technology departments, oversaw operating and capital budgets and led the integration of a new financial system.

Earlier in her career, Moser served as a project accountant at Pittsburg State University for eight years and founded Moser Consulting LLC, providing accounting and bookkeeping services to an architectural firm.

Moser earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pittsburg State University.
