Rachel Lang is a student success coach at K-State Olathe, primarily supporting the campus’ undergraduate programs.

In this role, she focuses on building relationships with learners to support them throughout their academic journeys, from first inquiry through successful completion of their program and beyond. Her work includes engaging various prospective student audiences, including industry partners, student groups and professional organizations. Additionally, she plans and leads events and activities both on and off campus.

Lang collaborates with learners to guide them throughout their time as students and provide support services, including connecting them with university resources. She also works closely with faculty to develop and execute recruitment, and communication plans specific to each program and its prospective and current students.

Before joining the team at K-State Olathe, Lang served as a senior office support assistant at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she coordinated school-wide internship fairs and events, managed commencement ceremonies and built partnerships with Kansas City companies to expand student career opportunities. Prior to that, she worked as an administrative assistant at Newman University.

Lang holds a Master of Business Administration in nonprofit management from Newman University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre from Emporia State University.
