Brett Bachelor is a student success coach at K-State Olathe.
In this role, he focuses on building relationships with learners to support them throughout their academic journeys from first inquiry through successful completion of their program and beyond.
His work includes engaging various prospective student audiences, including industry partners, student groups and professional organizations. Additionally, he plans and leads events and activities both on and off campus.
In addition, Bachelor collaborates with learners to guide them throughout their time as students and provide support services, including connecting them with university resounds. Bachelor also works closely with faculty to develop and execute recruitment and communication plans specific to each program and its prospective and current students.
Before joining the team at K-State Olathe, Bachelor served as a student success coach at Park University, where he specialized in supporting and guiding undergraduate students throughout their academic journeys. He worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including first-generation, international, transfer and non-traditional students. Bachelor ensured students had a clear roadmap for their academic paths and assisted them in aligning their coursework with their career goals.
Bachelor holds an M.A. in Communication and Leadership from Park University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from Kansas State University.
