Nick Giefer is a focused business leader driving industry vision and strategy at Schenck Process. Throughout his career with SPLLC, he has held engineering product design, project management and sales director positions related to dry bulk solids processing equipment for the performance materials and food industries.

Giefer applies experiences and skills to develop strong relationships, team building and problem solving of today's manufacturing challenges — efficiency improvements of processes with equipment and automation.

As a business leader in the bulk powder/solids handling industry, Giefer is an active member of the Process Equipment Manufacturer Association, or PEMA, and the advanced battery industry organization NaatBatt.

Giefer grew up on a Kansas farm and earned a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Kansas State University. He now lives in Kansas City, Missouri, and is most proud of his wife, Kim, a K-State graduate, and their three wonderful daughters, Josie, Claire and Anna.
