Paul Ewing founded Prosperity Advisory Group in 1989 and has worked in the financial services industry since 1980. He has confidently made a career of helping clients get fit to retire through insightful financial guidance. His passion is reflected in the many industry recognitions he has received: Financial Times 400 Top Advisor from 2015-2020, Forbes Finance Council, Cetera Advisors President’s Advisory Council, Barron's Top Teams and as an Investment News for Retirement Income Summit Moderator and Financial Tech Think Tank.
Ewing is a member of the Advisors Panel for the Insured Retirement Institute.
Ewing has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ since 1994. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Financial Services Institute, and a former board member of the local chapters of the Institute for Certified Financial Advisors and the Financial Planning Association. He also is a former adjunct professor for the College for Financial Planning. He is a contributing author of the book, "100 Ways to Get Fit to Retire." Ewing developed the MyDucks.org personal organizer.
In addition to his role as CEO and financial advisor at Prosperity Advisors, Ewing also founded and serves as CEO of the Prosperity Network of Advisors, a local registered representative supervisory branch that supports over 180 independent financial professionals who serve clients in 49 states. Prosperity Network of Advisors is a Super-OSJ for Cetera Advisors and Paul serves as a member of the Advisor Engagement Council for Cetera Financial Group.
On the community front, Paul and Julie are the co-founders of Living Waters Canoe Ministry and spends many summer weekends canoeing/kayaking with Scouts, families and church groups, where he leads the Global Outdoor Adventure Leaders Internship program for college students. He served on the Community Board for Overland Park Regional and Christian Youth Theater. He also is a founding Board Member for both UP Global and Mission Southside. Paul served on the District Committee for Soaring Eagle District BSA and as a member of the Personal Financial Planning Advisory Board for Kansas State University. Paul is proudest of his wife, Julie, and his four adult sons, Riley, Jackson, Carter and Truman.
