Kate Johnson is a communications and marketing specialist at K-State Olathe.
In this role, Johnson develops and coordinates marketing plans for K-State Olathe initiatives, including professional development programming and special events.
Additionally, she leverages the campus’ client relationship management tool (CRM), website and other solutions to promote programming, develops email campaigns and regulates workflows.
Prior to joining the team at K-State Olathe, Johnson worked as a marketing operations specialist where she managed and updated email communications and drip campaigns. She strategized the growth of lead generation by enhancing list segmentation, ensured brand consistency and increased webinar registration and attendance.
Johnson also worked as a manager of first impressions. In this role, she supported marketing initiatives and mailer projects by conducting list research and fostering cross-departmental communication. She focused on enhancing campaign results and accuracy. Additionally, she performed regular audits of client social media posts, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand strategy goals.
Johnson holds a bachelor of science in psychology from Peru State College, a marketing automation certificate from the American Marketing Association and certificates in digital marketing, SEO and content marketing from HubSpot Academy.
