Izzy Ramirez

Program Associate

Izzy Ramirez is the program associate at K-State Olathe.

In this role, Ramirez is responsible for providing administrative support for the American Association of Industry Veterinarians (AAIV) and the K-State Olathe campus. She assists the AAIV board of directors with member support, recruitment, marketing and membership activities. Additionally, Ramirez maintains the AAIV website and member database.

Prior to joining the team, Ramirez served as an administrative assistant and office receptionist at FosterAdopt Connect in Kansas City, Kansas. Ramirez’s duties included providing customer service to clients and guests, collaborating with multiple departments and maintaining inventory. Additionally, she created online courses, designed promotional flyers and handled email correspondence for family trainings. Ramirez also tracked and updated report data for training and child recruitment efforts, coordinated vendors for video shoots and managed office conference rooms.

Ramirez also has experience as a personal banker at Commerce Bank in Kansas City, Kansas. She worked closely with customers to provide support with personal transactions, as well as guidance and assistance opening new accounts. Ramirez also focused on providing exceptional customer support and provided follow-up assistance as needed.

Ramirez holds a B.A. in criminal justice and criminology with a minor in sociology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
