Hot Cocoa
Unsweetened cocoa powder | ¼ cup |
Sugar | ¼ cup |
Semisweet chocolate chips | ½ cup |
Milk | 4 cup |
Vanilla extract | 1 tsp |
Cinnamon (stick or ground) | 2 sticks or ½ tsp ground |
Add marshmallows, shaved chocolate, whipped cream or crumbled peppermints to elevate your drink.
Mulled Cider
Apple cider | ½ gal |
Cinnamon stick | 3 ea |
Allspice (whole) | 4 ea |
Cloves (whole) | 6 ea |
Ginger (fresh, thin sliced) | 0.25 inch |
Orange (sliced thin) | 1 ea |
Combine first 5 ingredients in heavy bottomed sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Add orange slices and steep for 5-10 minutes. Serve as is or add a little punch with brandy.
