Adult Learning and Leadership

The adult learning and leadership program focuses on common issues and challenges encountered by those who work with adults, including in higher education, corporate training, health care, technology, military, human resources and workforce development. Graduates gain enhanced knowledge and skills in interpersonal and intrapersonal communications, management, group dynamics, motivation and more.

M.S. in Adult and Continuing Education

The 33-credit hour master's degree helps working adults from a wide variety of professions become better educators, trainers, facilitators, program planners, managers and leaders. 

Ph.D./Ed.D. in Adult and Continuing Education

These doctoral degrees prepare scholars for careers or advancement as college or university faculty members or in other educational or corporate settings where the application of adult learning principles and theories and the development of new knowledge, theory and research are important.


Adult Learning Graduate Certificate

The 15-credit hour Adult Learning graduate certificate is perfect for working professionals who would like to expand their skills in the areas of adult learning theories and principles, instructional methods, curriculum design, and program evaluation.

Leadership Dynamics Graduate Certificate

The 15-credit hour Leadership Dynamics graduate certificate is for working professionals wanting to move into leadership or management positions, as well as those who currently hold leadership positions in a company. Courses focus on improving effectiveness, enhancing communication and relationship skills, and forming more productive teams.
