Tegan Jepsen is a sensory project analyst for the Sensory and Consumer Research Center at K-State Olathe.
She specializes in practical applications of consumer research to provide product direction and solutions. She uses cognitive flexibility and complex problem-solving in practical applications of consumer research to provide product direction and solutions to clients.
Jepsen has several years of experience in the food industry, bringing a consumer research background and a novel perspective from plant quality operations from early in her career.
Her most recent research involves using emojis in children’s consumer research. The goal is to create a consumer scale using emojis that can be used internationallly across cultures and different languages.
Jepsen earned a bachelor's degree in food science from Iowa State University and is pursuing a Professional Science Master’s in Applied Science and Technology from K-State Olathe.
