Become K-State's Hub in KC

The Olathe campus will be the front door for Kansas State University to expand its impact and coordination in Greater Kansas City.

In early 2019, the university launched an initiative to elevate Kansas State University's impact in the Greater Kansas City region, including positioning the Olathe campus as a central element. President Richard B. Myers and Provost Charles Taber invited key stakeholders who are engaged in the metropolitan area to serve on a task force focused on this strategic goal. Karen Pederson, dean of Global Campus, chairs the committee and gave the following charge to members.
