Pam Gradinger has been a catering/food service manager for the University of Texas-Austin, University of Kansas, and the Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence, Kan. She was also special events coordinator for the Crown Center Market Place and was director of its cooking school. She has spent the last 30 years as a private caterer and volunteer event planner.
Pam is passionate about art because it became a special mutual interest with her husband, Gary, very early in their marriage. They have continued to educate themselves in the visual arts as well as collect fine art. They spend much of their time volunteering in the visual arts and arts education. Pam is excited for K-State Olathe because it will be the perfect combination for her to explore and share her interest and knowledge in agriculture, food service and art.
Pam received her bachelor's in institutional management, foods and nutrition from the University of Arizona's School of Agriculture. She was born in Kingman, KS, and grew up in the Kansas City area.
