Kate Allen

Kate Allen serves as the vice president for advancement at Johnson County Community College.

In this role, Allen oversees the JCCC Foundation, JCCC Government Affairs, the Grants and Leadership department, the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Midwest Trust Center Performing Arts venue.

Allen has a J.D. from the University of Kansas and an M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska, where she played basketball for the Huskers. She is a 2011 Centurion with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and a 2013 Ingram's Forty Under 40.

Her community involvement in 2021 will include serving as Board President for the Olathe Chamber of Commerce and Board Chair for the Arts Council of Johnson County.

Allen and her husband, Josh, also an attorney, are residents of Johnson County and have three children, Luke (age 15), Ben (age 13) and Abigail (age 8).
