K-State Olathe Innovation Campus, Inc. (KOIC) operates the K-State Olathe Innovation Campus in behalf of Kansas State University. The KOIC board of directors is responsible for setting policies that govern the K-State Olathe Innovation Campus.

KOIC is a Kansas not-for-profit corporation that is exempt from taxation pursuant to §501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is also a Type 1 Supporting Organization of Kansas State University. KOIC has been officially designated by the university to receive and administer KSU's share of revenues generated from the 1/8 cent Johnson County Education Research Triangle sales tax.
