Kansas State University's Olathe campus and College of Business Administration's National Strategic Selling Institute are teaming up to sponsor a seminar by best-selling author and sales expert Mike Weinberg called "New Sales. Simplified."

The event will be 1:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, at the Olathe campus, 22201 W. Innovation Drive.

The seminar is for senior executives and mid-level professionals who would like to improve business prospects for themselves and their companies. Attendees will learn the nonnegotiable elements for a successful new business development sales strategy. Weinberg will discuss today's sales landscape, and why so many sales organizations are having a hard time developing new business.

Weinberg provides sales consulting to senior executives, while also providing his expertise on sales and leadership coaching to sales teams and leaders. His book, "New Sales. Simplified." was published and released in September 2012. It was the No. 1 hot new release in Amazon's sales and selling category for three months. It also was the No. 1 best-selling Kindle book in business systems and planning in December 2012.

An early bird price of $85 is available until April 15 for the seminar; registration will be $100 after April 15. For more information, visit the College of Business Administration website.
